Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE REAL 1969 Camaro Z/28 DZ 302 Up for sale by a private party is this gorgeous 1969 Camaro Z/28 with a numbers matching DZ 302 engine and drive line. As you can see by the decoded numbers below, this is a REAL “Zapper”. This 2 owner car underwent a 3 year total restoration approximately 19 years ago by local, Havre de Grace, MD professional, Pete Vissor. Since then the car has logged less than 2000 miles. Mileage reading of 92249 is original. Restoration was done at 90083. Only been driven in perfect weather to local car shows and kept in a climate controlled garage. No expense was spared. Owner is selling the car due to other priorities. Every body panel has been replaced with GM certified parts, no knock-offs. All of the glass was replaced except for the two rear quarter windows. The car is a true stunning example of a muscle car era which has long past. All of the gauges work except the clock. Radio DOES work too. The engine is NOT the original DZ engine which came with this Z/28, but a true 1969 DZ 302 motor from another. It is the only part of the drive line that is not original to the car. The engine was professionally rebuilt approximately 22 years ago by Paul Hogge in Baltimore MD. It retains the matching and original “Camel Hump”, 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust valve heads (see specifications below). Owner has receipts for all of the work which has been performed as well as some photographs. Please note that a difference from its original state is the color. Owner changed it from the original Phantom Green with Midnight green interior to Tuxedo black with white stripes and black interior. GM codes: Engine casting: 3932386. I.D. # N520226V1009DZ Transmission: 19N608942 Rear: BT092G1 (originally 3.55:1 gears; owner changed to 4.11:1) Trim tag (late style tag.
