This is a 1972 Porsche 914 1.8L with 47,490 miles California Car purchased from Vasek Polak in Hermosa Beach in 1972. Two owner car for it’s entire lifetime, “in Southern California.” I acquired this Porsche as a trade. I had it looked at and the mechanic mentioned the carb was adjusted a little high. Overall is sound. Engine has a 1.7/1.8 Heads.1.7 Heat exchanges Body - The Porsche body is in good solid straight shape. This car has had a fresh paint job 6 months ago. The casual passerby might not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description. Went from Guards Red to original Porsche 914 Competition Orange.. (only thing left to do is install Front Hood Seal) Right side passenger door does not open from the outside. It does open from the inside passenger side.. There is surface rust in the lower back trunk panel floor as well as a couple of small holes, which is common for these 914 Porsche's. View pictures.. Interior - Overall the interior is in good condition but does have some wear and tear from its old age. It has Black leather seats. Dashboard has the usual cracks but has a good custom cover Has a cd player. I do have both seat racks only 1 is installed at this time and it's the Driver side.. To the best of my knowledge the Porsche has 47k original miles.Clear California Title. Reg. good through 7/16 Tires appear to be like new, brakes like new. All electrical works. Weber Carburetor. I took the roof off the car and had one of friends sit in the passenger seat. With the door closed, roll up the window, and then open the door. The door does not stick.
