Vehicle Detail
1973 Plymouth Scamp I purchased about 6 years ago as a project car. It is a factory air car, but the compressor/lines/condenser have been removed. It also has power brakes and power steering. There are many new parts on the car. This would make a great project for any mopar fan. It starts/runs/drives now but needs some tinkering to have it road ready again. The engine is a 318 5.2l, the engine has been pulled out and cleaned up and painted. Also put new gaskets on the engine while is was out. It has the 340 "J" heads and 340 manifolds that have been ceramic coated as well. It also has a 4 barrel edelbrock intake and carburetor. The car had new dual exhaust with headers, but we removed the headers and installed the 340 manifolds, so the exhaust will need to be ran from the manifold to where the headers met the exhaust pipes. The body has been stripped, primed, and jammed out in hugger orange color. The body is 90% ready for paint, minus a few dings here and there from sitting around the shop for a few years. There is no rust on the body, except for a small circle about 3 inches in the right side of the trunk floor. New seats and carpet and dash pad, the door panels have been dyed to match. New door seals. Brand new windshield and weatherstrip installed today. The interior needs a headliner and sail panels, I have the originals but they are not in very good shape. I put a new heater core in as well. The radio is missing, and I would recommend a new heater control switch, the one in the car works, but the mounting tabs are broken. All exterior lights work, new front and rear side marker lights. Mechanically, the car is ready to go minus a transmission leak (I believe it is the O ring around the dipstick), The transmission kickdown hooked up, and a choke hooked up (the car had electronic choke, but the carburetor on it is manual choke) I replaced all 3 rubber brake lines and the master cylinder. I have new front end steering components that have been powder coated, they are not installed. TN title in hand. Im sure im forgetting a few small things, but overall this would be a great car to spend a couple weekends on and have it back on the road. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close, rest of payment due within 3 days of auction ending. Message me with any questions you may have. The car is for sale locally as well so auction may be ended early.
