Extremely clean & well maintained 2003 Volkswagen Passat W8 4Motion wagon!! This car lived eight of its first twelve years in TEXAS! deeded it over to her shortly after he bought it. Driven only by non-smoking adults, this car has never seen a Jiffy Lube or McDonald's drive thru. SERVICED ONLY BY CERTIFIED VW MECHANICS . Oil has been changed (full synthetic) every 5,000 miles -- twice as often as VW recommends. It has been serviced locally by German Motorsports in Gilford and Tilton Autoserv . I am a retired airline pilot - they will confirm that I have been very picky about maintenance! I have only carried passengers two or three times. Other than the driver's seat the interior shows little wear. The exterior is finished in a beautiful Candy White that is shiny and in great overall condition and complimented with a beige leather interior that shows virtually NO wear, other than the driver's seat. This Passat features a powerful 4.0L W8 capable of 270hp and is mated to a seamless 5-speed All Wheel Drive automatic transmission that truly brings this German power-plant to life on all four wheels!! This motor is quick on its feet. The EPA rating is 18/25 on the original window sticker, but I routinely see 26 MPG at interstate speeds. The interior of the vehicle is extremely clean and well appointed with dual 8-way power heated front seats with driver 3 position memory and dual manual lumbar adjustment. The rear seat passengers are not left out and kept very comfortable with plenty of leg and head room. The driver is treated to a leather trimmed steering wheel with controls to the 8-speaker Monsoon audio system, On-board computer and cruise control right at their fingertips! The vehicle is equipped with numerous safety and convenience features that include but are not limited to: Power glass sunroof, Dual Heated front seats, Xenon Headlights, Headlamp Washers, 60/40 split folding rear seat plus rear Cargo Cover. The Xenon bulbs as well as the headlight assemblies are new. The vehicle is also equipped with Electronic Stability Program, Front side impact airbags, HomeLink and Keyless Entry. This car comes with four extra wheels with mounted and balanced winter tires. You will save money and time every fall and spring changeover since you are just charged for a rotation, not mounting, dismounting and re-balancing! Don't let anyone tell you that you don't need snow tires with all-wheel drive! You do! And with them this vehicle is unstoppable (unless you need to stop and then you will stop in half the distance of those with "all season" tires! Additionally, the car will come with (2) master/remote keys and a complete set of books and all maintenance records (see photo) since it entered service. Overall, the car looks OUTSTANDING!!! It's been garage kept, NO accidents, all original paint and NO RUST!! Please keep in mind that although the car shows well above average, it is a 12 year old vehicle that does have minor imperfections . The interior looks outstanding, carpets are clean, there are no tears in the leather and it has always been a NON-SMOKER! As a bonus for the new owner, I have also fitted a brand new set of Genuine VW all-weather floor mats to help keep the carpets clean! The A/C is ice cold, the windows, sunroof and radio all work as they should. The trailer hitch was installed to mount a bicycle carrier. It has never been used to haul a trailer. The front bumper and hood have minor chips typical of a 12 year old car with this mileage. The rear bumper has scratches (from taking advantage of the tons of cargo space!). Additionally, there is a small crease just ahead of the right rear fender (visible just above the rearmost snow tire in the photo showing the winter tires and wheels). The "W8" badge on the front grille came off. Your local VW dealer will be happy to sell you one for $59.55 or leave it off be a stealth vehicle! The right outside mirror no longer always dips automatically when you shift into reverse. Both were not major annoyances and also would be very expensive to fix, so I just left them alone. One air vent slat does not line up completely with all the others when that vent(right center) is wide open.
