Up for auction is one SALVAGE TITLE 2007 Impala. Car runs and drives well. I am currently driving it daily on a dealer plate while it is for sale. (Miles will increase during listing.) Engine starts and runs great. Transmission shifts well. Computer says 28+ mpg during commute. A/C and heater work GREAT. All glass is good and windows work well. Brakes and tires are acceptable, but should be replaced to smoothen things up. Interior of car needs a good cleaning and/or replacement with cleaner items. Staining on seat belts, carpets and seats. Some wear on steering wheel, some wear on some control buttons. Faux woodgrain in interior has some imperfections. Courtesy bell is very faint and does not ring loud enough to hear for door open chime and other alarms. Mirror control switch not working. Some staining and small hole in headliner. Undercarriage is much better than average NY car, the car spent time down south away from road salt. Car looks good from the road, main damage is to right rear quarter, right rear tailight, rear bumper and right mirror. Photos show exterior condition well. Paint does have oxidation, scratching and imperfections. Headlights do have some clouding of the UV coating. This car would make a great driver for someone needing a mechanically sound car with less than perfect cosmetics. Car is being sold with MV-907a New York Salvage paperwork. Please understand car will require inspection by NY DMV field office if you intend to title car in New York. On Jun-23-15 at 14:49:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Missed in original description: latch on the center console lid/armrest is broken. Armrest hinge works, but lid does not latch into place. Also, a speaker on the passenger side front is intermittent. Didn't realize it until yesterday since the volume change wasn't drastic enough that I even knew it was cutting out.
