Vehicle Detail
This is one of the nicest unmolested cj5's I've seen. 2 owner with 84,000 miles. 232 engine with 3 speed transmission. It's had 1 repaint in the mid 80's. The owner had backed into a pole and damaged the left rear panel below the tail light. When this was fixed they repainted the exterior. Paint still looks great and shines. With a good buffing it would look amazing I'm sure. Yes it has scratches and a few dings here in there. It's not perfect. There is almost no rust. There is a small spot (quarter size) in the passenger side floor where a brace is attached to the floor. Then a spot on both sides where the brace comes down below the door hinges, both quarter size. Other than that it has a little surface rust. No frame rust what so ever. All in all very rust free. To my knowledge everything works including all lights, gauges, heater, etc. The radio does not work. Motor has been professionally rebuilt using original block, head, and accessory's. Jeep runs awesome, you want believe how good it runs. No hesitation, smoke, missing, or any problems. Runs awesome. Drives great, better than most. It's a jeep and drives like one but not all over the road like some. The hard top was put on for the pictures, first time in 20 years it's been on. Jeep has always been stored inside a garage or building. Top is in good shape. It has some surface rust and needs new weather stripping, and paint, but does not leak and all doors open and close like they should. Windows roll up and down. Top sat outside under a carport so many it's not as nice as jeep but could be made that way very easily. All glass is good. I just changed out the original windshield because it fogged up. Original seats, and seat belts all in good condition. Original motor, trans, electrical system, radiator, and everything. Electrical has not been cut up and bypassed, all still in play. Just recently I replaced the front brakes, and it stops has it should. I also replaced the exhaust manifold because it had a crack. I have the original one if someone wants it. This is a jeep that any jeep enthusiast would love to have and be proud to drive it just like it is now. With that being said it would be a easy one to restore because of the condition. Tires have lots of tread but are a little dry. They hold air and never leak down. I have not replaced them because I just drive it locally. If you would like some other pictures or video emailed to you just let me know. Inspections can be made at any time this week except next Saturday or Sunday I will be out of town. I have tried to describe the jeep as best I could, but feel free to ask me any questions. Also jeep title will state OD exempt for mileage, and that is Arkansas law on older vehicles. Also there is no other previous damage other than the left rear panel. I added this jeep to eBay yesterday and scheduled it to come on today. I drove jeep today to the store and speedometer wasn't working. I'm not sure what happened to it. It has always worked and never gave me any problems. I will try to get it checked out but as of now it's not working. It's like the jeep God doesn't want me to sell it. Very nice jeep and you will have little doubt the miles are correct when you see it. I have included a link for other pictures and video. As you will see its very nice. Thanks for looking. Excellent rig. No oil or fluid leaks. You will not be disappointed. Rig looks better in person than in photos.
