Vehicle Detail

I really hate to get rid of this van, but it's served me well, and I cannot afford to insure a 3rd vehicle, SO... This is a 1995 Chevrolet G Van that has been fully converted. ITS INSPECTION IS GOOD THROUGH AUGUST OF THIS YEAR!! The interior is equipped with lots of cabinet space as well as a place to put a TV and VCR or DVD player-- I never got that working, personally, since any regular use would have been quite a drain on the battery. Not so much so, with the newer flat-screens, etc., so the right do-it-yourselfer could really pimp this ride! There is a control in the front to fold the bed into a bench, for as many as 6 belted passengers. There are several controls for various string-lights and accent lighting for night-time group travel. Upholstery, draw-shades, and hardwood accents throughout complete the interior. Overhead lights per-passenger, as well as separate headphone jacks, (I don't know which devices feed them audio, as we've never used them,). All windows behind the driver seat are privacy windows, making it an ideal place for a change of clothes. I'm 5'10, and can stand in the middle of the van without bumping my head. This van is in really great operational shape for its age. It's been my beat-around vehicle for the past 9 years, during which it has been non-smoking. I also did not detect any cigarette odor when I purchased it in 2005. Some cosmetic work was done in 2011, including addressing some rust issues and replacing a side window that was vandalized. All repairs were made to my satisfaction at the time. I have since had a new problem with the window in the driver-side door, (see photo,). The missing upholstery part of the door is under the bed in the back, awaiting reassembly. This issue was about to be addressed, except that I inherited a younger vehicle, to which the van tags were transferred... Just so any purchaser understands that this needs repair!! I am a full-disclosure seller: ALL PHOTOS ARE CURRENT!! The AC unit needs to be recharged. A front portion of the fiberglass running-panel on the passenger side has been broken. The broken piece goes with the van. The van also has a separate cassette deck, located behind the driver's seat, which has not been functional since I owned the van. The CD/radio plays fine. I even upgraded the rear speakers a few years back. Also, the lower hinge on the LEFT (smaller) side door is broken. This has not been an issue for me, I have always simply left it locked and use the main side door only. The last time the van was driven, I had just made it home after getting a flat tire a few blocks away. Therefore, the spare tire is off. The extra rim is included, and the spare cover as well, (see photo,). The tires were on their last leg, so plan on needing to purchase new ones. I believe they are 225/R15's. The van has been parked since last November, and I removed the battery for winter. I just put the battery back in, and she started right up. As reliable as ever! This Van is a great value for someone on a budget who needs a dependable ride, especially one who is handy with vehicles and who can give her the TLC she requires and deserves! As I said, there was no intention of getting rid of her until I inherited the other vehicle. We will miss her the next time we go camping, (we always slept on the bed-- The lower slide-windows are screened.) A wonderful vacationing vehicle for a couple or small family. I just added night-time photos (without flash) in order to display the interior limousine-lighting. The photos are taken from the front, side, and rear, respectively. In the very last photo you can see the small television that is still in the van, and which works, although I never used it in the van. There is also a VCR in the compartment immediately to the left. These could easily be replaced by a flat-screen and DVD or BluRay player for entertaining your passengers. The starting bid is set to about $1000. less than I am estimating the vehicle is worth. Good luck!
