This is a prime example of a well maintained, low mile 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo. The paint is original except the passenger's door which was repainted by the first owner. The engine runs smooth and strong. The transmission, clutch and brakes are flawless. The interior is in very good condition with clean carpets and like-new seats (refinished). All instruments and controls work properly. AC blows cold air. No cracks in the dash. Power windows, sunroof, remote power door locks with Audiovox Prestige alarm- all work like they should.Major maintenance: the water pump replaced to upgraded design together with timing and balance shaft belts, front of the engine resealed including the oil cooler, brake pads, spark plugs, distributor, rotor, spark plug wires all replaced 20k miles ago.New clutch (Sachs heavy duty), new tires (Bridgestone Pole Position), battery, coolant, brake fluid flush, all replaced 2k miles / 2 years ago.Modifications: Transaxle Motorsport DME and KLR chips, Alpine HD137BT stereo with Pioneer speakers, remote power door locks with alarm, "Cup" wheels with Weltmaister spacers (original phone dials included).The car is complete with the collapsible spare tire (never used), jack, tool kit, air compressor and sunroof bag. 4 keys with remotes.Overall, the car has been very reliable and a pleasure to drive. Used as a weekend fun car, never driven in winter. I intended to keep it forever, however after I started having problems with my back I decided to buy a 928, so 951 has to find a new home.I have many spare parts including a spare engine, transmission, interior and suspension parts - it will be up to the new happy owner if he wants to purchase them at a great discount.The car has a great potential - it can be driven anywhere without hesitation and be a perfect daily driver as-is.Or with a new coat of paint and some elbow grease it can be brought to a concourse level.Or with proper modification to the engine, suspension and brakes it could be a very formidable track car.Since the car is 29 years old it has cosmetic flaws (mainly paint) - small chips, small dents etc.Clean Carfax and clean title in hand.It is up to the buyer to pick up the car or arrange for shipment.
