Before putting it up last winter, I had the following done so that it would be ready to ride this season. You could get on it now and head out across country and need only fuel. This bike was used primarily for long trips out west so most miles were accumulated during 6 to 8,000 mile trips. It has performed flawlessly and has never needed a single repair. It has never been dropped or misused. The accessories on it are what I consider useful, especially for long rides. I have a smaller Honda that I use for local riding. Recently serviced for this season: 1. clutch and brake fluids replaced 2. differential fluid replaced 3. coolant replaced 4. oil and filter (synthetic) 5. air filter 6. new plugs 7. brake pads inspected and are excellent 8.
