Although this car’s history is unknown, I have been told that it was in storage for a number of years in Oklahoma. The excellent condition of the floorboards indicate it was stored in a dry environment. The odometer reads only about 1600 miles so it may have rolled over or been replaced. The oil pressure of 50# cold suggest that the engine may have been rebuilt at some point . Some of the many new parts that have been installed include: radiator, hoses, Roto-Flex couplings, rear wheel bearings, fuel pump, ignition components, coil, clutch hydraulics, brake hoses, steering rack, tie rod ends, window seals, carpet, and seat foam and covers. The gas tank has been cleaned and sealed and new fuel hoses installed. The only deviation from a stock GT6 is the addition of 3 gauges mounted in place of the ash tray, and the passenger seat back, which reclines. Paint and chrome is acceptable, but far from perfect. The rubber around the windshield is checked and there are a few pits on the glass. The headliner at the rear hatchback has been replaced with a similar material. All lamps and gauges work. The transmission and clutch & brakes work properly. Included with the car is a spare tire, jack and lug wrench, a working vintage AM/FM radio, owners handbook, shop manual and assorted parts. Since refurbishing this car I have driven it on local car club outings and found it to be reliable, but at my age it is too hard to get in and out of. This car is being sold “AS IS”. A $500 deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hours of end of auction, with the balance to be sent via bank wire transfer within 7 days.
