Vehicle Detail
This is a 2003 325i Wagon. It's got over 170,000 miles on the clock and is in fantastic shape for its mileage. The car has all the standard power features you'd expect, including power windows, locks, sunroof and driver/passenger seats. It has three way memory on the drivers seat. There's heated front seats. The car has stability and traction control. CD-radio with controls mounted on the steering wheel along with cruise control. Lovely dark metallic blue with a tan interior. Also has all-weather floor mats and cargo area mat from BMW. Mechanically it's in good shape. I've done some work including, over the past year: -OEM Front Struts -OEM Swaybar links -OEM Air Flow Sensor -VANOS seals (Beisan Systems) -New Water pump (upgraded to steel impellers) -New Thermostat, radiator hoses -Continental Serpentine belt -Front tires (Goodyear RS-A, less than 500 miles on them) -OEM cabin air filter -OEM Disa (intake manifold) valve, valve cover gasket Rear tires are not old, but might be unevenly worn. The brakes are good. Previous owner installed control arm mounts and new air pump for emissions. There's an intermittent lag in throttle response under load at about 1,500 to 3,000 rpm and under 40 mph. It's weird and has not caused any problems besides a weird noise when it happens. The throttle is butter smooth otherwise, as you'll be able to see in the video. There's a very recent new groan from the front end under compression which might be due to the new struts, but I can't say. The car is high mileage but a great cruiser and very nice on the highway. It's not warrantied and is definitely an as-is sale. You will need to do things to keep it this good and make it better. SO - take a look and let me know if I can answer any questions. I have clear title and receipts for work done during my ownership which will go to the new owner. Also have a set of one season old Pirelli Sottozero winter tires on new steel wheels that could be negotiated into the package should the buyer be interested.
