This is a very nice vintage Super Beetle that I bought to restore. Within the last year I have installed a reman. 1776cc Long Block purchased from JCS Volksengines of California, replaced the clutch, the flywheel, the battery and cables, alternator, starter, electronic ignition, engine mounts, hood shocks, new door trim panels, tires, and dash cover. I have added a new dual carb. system, chrome engine bay trim, a front disc brake conversion, and a digital dash mounted tachometer. All the glass is good and everything functions as it should. It runs and drives good, and gets attention wherever you go.The floors are solid and the chassis is tight, but it is 40 years old and you can find flaws. It is not show car quality, but neither is the price. I have new and used parts to go with the car. They include a new set of brake shoes, seals, and wheel cylinders for the rear, a new EMPI 34 PICT-3 carb. that I bought and installed before I decided to go with the dual set-up, the original intake manifolds and carb. mount for the single unit, a new front trans.mount that it did not need, at least three sets of valve cover gaskets, 3 sets of oil change gaskets, assorted engine install gaskets, a new carb.synchronizing tool, a new interior lamp assy,, a new EMPI intake boot kit, the original black steel valve covers and bails,and the original single carb. air cleaner. I may find some other odds and ends to go with it later.The buyer will need to pick this car up in Tuscaloosa,Alabama or make shipping arrangements because I can not deliver. I will accept payment in cash, USPS money order, or certified bank check.This car will be sold with a Bill of Sale and a copy of my tag receipt because Alabama did not issue titles until 1975. I will need a non-refundable deposit within 3 days of the end of the auction for 10% of the sale price with the balance due within 10 days of the end of auction or upon delivery, whichever comes first.
