I've decided to sell my 87 Gran Fury Police clone...I bought it last year in mid winter from Upstate New York and I drove it 1300 miles straight back to Indiana in terrible arctic weather and heavy snow, and it ran like a champ! No mechanical problems whatsoever and all the lights, electrics, radio and heater work perfectly.It was good on gas too, about 25 mpg I estimated.Transmission is perfect and the engine runs and sounds spot on. It's a 318 so it's bulletproof anyway, and it's very fast too for and old one. Very Torquey..It has absolutely NO rust whatsoever, it is totally rust free and super solid underneath. And the body is very good too. Apart from the obvious that the paint and clear coat looks like crap..It has about 140k miles but it has a newer dash so the dial only reads 69k.It was never a police car so was not run hard and pushed to the limits like a cruiser would have been. It has police wheels, police dash, spotlight, rear deck lights that are connected to the brake lights and the beautiful 60's Federal Signal twin beacon lightbar and chrome siren. THESE ARE OLD AND OBSOLETE AND DO NOT LIGHT UP, AS PER EBAY RULES, SO DO NOT PULL THIS LISTING, IT IS NOT AGAINST EBAY POLICY!The car runs and drives great, I drive it at least once a week.The tires are about 50% but look good. Everything works on the car, the interior is fair, dash is very good but seats and carpets very dirty and passenger seat has cig burns from a previous owner.It's been tuned up professionally and carb balanced and it fires right up and idles so smooth and quiet.The only bad things I can think of are: it needs shocks all around as they are all crap, and the rear springs are worn and need replacing soon as they sag a bit, but new ones are only $129 a piece. It still drives fine, just a bit floaty.The stalk for the high beams is broken inside somehow so high beam headlights don't work, but regular headlights do and turn signals. And the lever that adjusts the steering wheel height is broken so the steering wheel wobbles around if you wobble it, but it's common on these and just needs bolts tightening according to the dealer.And it has a tiny oil leak from the sump pan gasket, but it's real minor and easily fixed.Apart from that it runs and drives great, it's a daily driver and never smoked or overheats or anything.EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS IF YOU HAVE ANY BEFORE YOU BID, ONCE YOU WIN IT IT'S YOURS!THANKSOn Jun-06-15 at 16:24:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I JUST WANTED TO ADD THAT THIS CAR HAS HAD THE ELECTRONIC FUEL AMD EMISSIONS SYSTEM REMOVED (WHICH ARE KNOWN TO BE TROUBLESOME) AND REPLACED WITH A HOLLEY SINGLE PLANE ALUMINUM INTAKE, CARTER 4BBL CARBURETOR, NEW COIL, CUT TO FIT WIRES, NEW PLUGS, FUEL FILTER AND VALVE COVER GASKETS. THE ENGINE IS SUPER STRONG AND SMOOTH AND IT IDLES ALMOST SILENTLY AND PERFECTLY SMOOTH.
