Go to tdiclub dot com and see tdi's with 400-600 even 900k and still driving great. I average 35mpg in this diesel. I took a trip to Tampa a 3 hour round trip and did the whole trip on quarter tank of fuel :) can't beat that. Recent repairs: Done by Full Throttle of Orlando Inspected till September 2016 or 188,000milesFuel System Serviced doneTransmission software updated Cooling Flush was done Brake Pads were changed Timing Belt was inspected and appeared to look new with no stress cracks, water pump is brand new, the mechanic recommend to re-check for belt wear at 188k Also recommended to change all engine mounts before 200k Good: WILL PASS EMISSIONS AND state inspections tires in good shape 70%No CEL engine lights on the dashStarts the first time Background: I've owned tdi's for 10 years and love them. They are strong, durable (900k miles) and get great mpg over a gas counterpart. I commute over 500 miles a week for work and I easily save a car payment a month in fuel by driving a TDI. I've done so well with TDI's that I always end up buying one when I come across one. The code was checked by a VAG-COM scanner. I did try to reset the code but it came back 5mins later. This is a common problem on the Beetle model only from 98-09. They did do a recall for it on some models and really depends on the VW dealer to replace it free of charge. There recall goes by the Vin Number of certain beetle models. *Keyless remote does not work and might be the remote battery needs to change but I will try to replace the battery before the sale ends *Has normal wear outside few small very scratches but paint still looks new 9.0/10 also small a very small dent on the right side rocker panel. If the deposit is not received within the required time frame and alternative arrangements were not made, we reserve the right to make the vehicle available for sale to another buyer. The remaining balance is due within 5 calendar days of making the deposit. You must fax or email us your State issued driver’s license after you make the deposit. We reserve the right to keep your deposit and resell the vehicle to another buyer if final payment is not received within 7 calendar days. As final payment for the vehicle, we will accept a certified bank check, bank loan check, wire transfer, or cash. We will not release the vehicle and/or title until funds clear. If you pay cash, you can pickup the vehicle immediately. If you pay by wire transfer the vehicle will be available for pickup once funds are available in our account. If you pay by bank check, you will have to wait nine (9) business days until the funds clear. 7. Title Information: Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In some cases there is a delay in receiving the original paper Title after the vehicle is paid off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at the time of sale, there are occasions where we may have to wait for them to arrive.
