Hard to find stock original 1st Gen "Sport Truck" 4x4....these were built in 1979 and 1980 only, it was Toyota's "top of the line' truck during those 2 years...later they became the SR-5 . This truck was bought new in 1980 at MidValley Toyota in Marysville CA, I have all the original paperwork from that time and owners manuals. This trucks in great unrestored condition and has had some upgrading. The paint is original except in the bed which I repainted due to scratches, it had a cap over the bed most of its life and is mostly dent free. This 80 has the original 20r motor and only 78k miles on it. Other upgrades include new front calipers, new brake hoses, new shocks, new exhaust, new vacuum lines and plug wires, brand new battery, the seat was redone in same original fabric and pattern, the dash is perfect with no cracks!....even the stock radio works! There is even the original spare tire H78x15 still under the truck..original tool pouch and jack behind seat. It has the hard to find mud flaps on all 4 wheels. This truck has no rust thru anywhere , the frame has normal light surface rust and the body has some dings as to be expected on a 35 yr old pickup. This truck has not seen a New England winter, its been stored away in the barn. There are no fluid leaks and the only things not working are the horn and the tach...everything else in working order. You can drive and enjoy this "survivor" as is or would be a easy restoration.....these 1st Gen 4x4 stock examples are few and far between and collectors are starting to take notice, just look at the prices recently of the same era FJ40's....
