CLICK ON PICTURES TO ENLARGE & SCROLL DOWN TO SEE ALL PICTURES 1969 MGB Roadster, 1.8L I4, 4-speed This sweet little MGB is a gem in the rough--functionally and structurally sound, but somewhat cosmetically challenged.  It runs and drives great and would only take a little TLC to be a fun driver or weekend cruiser.  Alternatively, it would make a solid starting point for full restoration. The peppy inline 4 sports dual carburators, starts right up, and runs great.  The 4-spd manual transmission shifts good.  The car steers like it should, although the steering wheel itself is somewhat rickety.  The brakes work as expected.  The interior is fairly rough but wouldn't be hard to restore if you are so inclined.  The previous owner had the driver seat bolted in a fixed position, so that would need to be reversed if the current position is not good for you. The body overall is very solid.  There is surface rust throughout the undercarriage, but only a small rust hole in the rear passenger side floor pan.  The lower battery housing had some rust that was removed.  The rest of it has surface rust but is very solid and holds the battery securely.  Despite needing a paint job the car still looks good and turns heads.  This great little British roadster will make a fun driver or restoration project for its new owner.    FEATURES & DETAILS: 1.8L Inline 4-Cylinder Engine 4-spd Manual Transmission Dual Carburators Recent Starter Recent Clutch Slave Cylinder Rear Wheel Drive Recent Tune-Up Convertible Top Roll Bar Car Cover Spare Tire Miscellaneous Spare Parts Spare Transmission (condition unknown) Aftermarket Temperature Gauge CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE     ADDITIONAL DETAILS: VIN: GHN4U/169464 G ODOMETER:  26540 miles (actual miles unknown)  ENGINE STAMP:  18V884AE-L1252 FLAWS: tail-lights not working (stop and signal lights do work), fan not working, all gauges not working except for speedometer and aftermarket temperature gauge, wipers not working, driver side tail-light cover missing, a couple small tears in top (patched), surface rust throughout the undercarriage, small rust hole in rear passenger side floor pan, some rust in lower battery housing--still very solid and battery mounted securely, needs paint, could use a little body work, could use a new grill, glass missing from passenger side view mirror, rough interior, driver seat position not adjustable--bolted in place, needs weather-stripping, steering wheel is a little rickety BID WITH CONFIDENCE!
