Vehicle Detail

I am the third owner of the car. I purchased and finished the restoration due to the health of the former owner... and his other project on a 1960 Vette. Sit down as this will be lengthy: I will describe in reverse what has all been done with the car. All of the expensive stuff is done. I have been a certified Mechanic for 40 years and all work done is proper. New Carpet, front to rear -- the good stuff. Seat repair on the driver's leather seat. I piece of material and one seam. New ignition switch on the column. Colmplete stripping of the paint to fiberglass. Two part primer, sealer, base coat in original color and Urethane Clearcoat. T-tops are original and not bad off at all. Weatherstrips on thetops are great, and they are in the original bags held down with the original straps. NIce fit and no leaks. New Brakes including rotors, calipers, shoes and lines. Emergency break is missing it's hardware in the drums and one cable is broke. That would not be an expensive repair if you ever used that item.. It was set up as a kill switch... the lever. I removed that. New brake booster and master cylinder too. Front end alignment. High pressure A/C line. Compresor has a slow leak at the main bushing; $200 for a new one if you want the air to not leak. Cruise control doesn't work All the stuff is there and it might just be a fuse. Everything else works fine... gauges, steering etc.....Original spare like new and jack and handle are the same. Tune up, Cap, rotor, plugs filters, pvc/ Former Owner's Work: From the receipts. Water pump $120 worth of belts. Wiper motor. Tires in 1997... 80% left but they are old. Rear springs. Front springs. U joints. He had it painted. Ugly. Redid the paintjob. Recored the Radiator... Copper recore. More u-joints. Battery Sway bar links. Trans service. Oil changes with synthetic. Welded exhaust that is tight. Wish list. Door weather strips. Engine compartment detailing. The carb is old and works but a new one might be nice. Front bumper has some touch up.... down low by the little bumper blocks..... not noticable. General detailing.. I am not good at it. Have questions or want more specific photos just ask. I will post all questions and answers.
