1981 Honda XR

1981 Honda XR80. previous owner used it as a pit bike, and it was put away running. some time later he got it out and it wouldnt start. for whatever reason he thought the stator was bad and took the left side engine cover off to investigate. thats as far as he got..luckily he had drained the gas tank, cause its pretty clean inside. I got it home, put gas in the cylinder, and it started on the 3rd kick. It ran for a solid 3 seconds and sounded very good. so its gonna need carburetor rebuilt, and probably the petcock cleaned as well (im assuming), new fuel line, airfilter, oil change, spark plug, etc.... front and rear brakes work, and the tires arent that bad. they hold air, decent tread, very minor weather cracking. gas tank only has a few small dents, and some scratched as seen in the pics. seems to be a complete bike minus the front number plate missing. also there are some bolts missing for the side covers, seat, and left side engine cover. i didnt notice any major rust anywhere on the bike, just very minor surface rust here and there. please feel free to ask any questions, and im more than happy to take additional pictures for you no title im willing to assist with shipping, at buyers expense and arrangements located in garland, tx. 75043 (15 minutes east of Dallas)
