This 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT coupe starts up and lot drives but has mechanical and cosmetic issues. Mainly, it needs a catalytic converter and brake work. It is a TWO DOOR COUPE WITH AUTOMATIC AND 6 CYLINDER. The Carfax report shows ONE OWNER. There was an accident in 2012 involving the front. Only “very minor damage” was reported. There is no significant body damage that affects drivability. There are dents, scuffs, rust, scratches, and worn or broken trim pieces. There are also mechanical issues.

With repairs and TLC, this may be a good car for someone. The car starts up and drove around but has the following mechanical issues:

Hesitation in throttle sometimes

Hard shifts around lot

Noise from front brakes (front brakes are metal on metal)

Cosmetic/Body issues: Please see all pictures. The body is in drivable condition with a some cosmetic damage and cosmetic rust. There are heavy scratches and scuffs with paint damage and some small areas of rust. Underneath there is VERY minimal rust (see picture of the crease with some surface rust). Rust is NOT a safety issue. The interior is in usable condition but needs cleaning. The interior has no significant damage.
