I live in the N. Texas area so it has never driven through road salt nor traveled to the coast. I ordered this truck from Friendly Chevrolet and had it undercoated before delivery, there is no rust. The silver sides of the bed were repainted years ago as someone key scratched many cars in the parking lot at work. The 6.2L diesel engine is a GM truck designed engine, not the diesel converted 350 that GM had. The truck runs very well, has 100,008 actual miles and I have kept the truck in good shape, but it is 33 years old and is not a new truck. The driver’s seat has a small tear, the speakers are original and don’t sound too good, the A/C compressor needs the front seal replaced and the headliner needs replacing. The batteries, starter and brake master cylinder were replaced last year. It is a very good truck and the only reason I’m selling it is that it’s rarely driven, it sits in the garage while my car is in the drive way. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A nonrefundable $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours. The balance is due within 7 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. I will accept PayPal for the deposit only, cash or USPS money order for the balance. Buyer is responsible for delivery. If you are not sure about something, please ask! The truck is sold as-is, there is no warranty. I also have the truck listed for local sale, so this auction could be closed if sold locally.
