Up for bid 1986 Ford Mustang SVO One of 3314 produced in 1986. Factory sunroof & cloth interior car 67,000 original documented miles. The car wears 90% of its original paint with the only touch up done is on the rear spoiler and Hatch. All options work speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, boost gauge, high-octane switch, power windows, power door locks, original cassette player. Interior is in great shape with very minimal signs of wear. The original headliner material was removed due to it hanging down (see pics), cardboard back is still in great shape and original replacement headliner material is available through 5.0 Resto. Exterior is in good condition. It does show some wear. There is a small crack on the front bumper cover and the passenger side lower spat needs to be repaired or replaced. (See pics) Original wheels are in excellent shape. The Goodyear tires were put on the car back in 1993 at 59,500. They only have 7500 miles on them now and are still in excellent shape, they show no signs of cracking or checking at all. Engine and transmission are unmodified. General maintenance has been performed, fuel filter, timing belt etc. The A/C would only need a new belt and a recharge to work again. Car has always been stored in a climate controlled garage. It was stored from 1999 to 2014. Original owners manuals, Koni shock adjustment knob and manual included as well as original sunroof bag and unused Marchal fog lamp covers. This car is a true piece of Mustang history, very sought after by collectors and will only continue to climb in value. This car is 95% stock with the only addition being a set of lowering springs the previous owner installed to give the car a more aggressive stance. The original SVO springs are included with sale. The car has always been on the west coast and has never been subjected to harsh winters or salted roads. RUST FREE car. This is a very nice original car, very hard to find these days, original paint is in good condition for the year. It does show some minor blemishes as expected with any car this age. The car runs and drives great I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
