Vehicle Detail
One of the harder Suzuki models to find. A restored example will cost you in excess of 5k. Finding a T500 Cobra Mark I for restoration is a difficult task indeed so here is your chance. Get it while you can. All sales final. Will need total restoration. For your consideration is this 1968 Suzuki T500 Cobra Mark 1. Fairly low number. T500-13556 with matching engine 13556. Appears 90% complete and original. Appears unmolested and for the most part original. Noticeable missing pieces are rear pegs, grab bar, chrome tank side covers, turn signals, small emblems, right side cover, key(though I can have one made if necessary) and possibly a few other smaller items. The chain is also missing as was frozen and had to be removed to roll. The bike has NO TITLE. Can provide bill of sale. In states like Georgia, Vermont, Nevada and a few others titles are not needed for a vehicle of this age. Title services are available and cost about $300. The motorcycle has been sitting idle for many years. Stored indoors, truly a barn find. Only 6870 original miles. DOES NOT RUN. PROJECT. The engine kicks over and has compression. The transmission shifts through the gears. The engine looks good with no broken fins or rash. Everything on engine including air box appears original. Original Suzuki exhaust looks decent with some light rash and surface rust but no rust holes or patches. Down pipes have some non cleanable surface rust as seen. Chrome overall looks decent and most should clean up to driver quality. Surface rust throughout. The gauges are intact. Nice dials with clear lenses. The bodies have electrical tape on sides but believe it is merely to cover the painted bodies. The gas tank looks good. No major dents or damage. The inside is very usable with only light cleaning necessary. The seat has a good pan but cover is cracked and foam is hard. The tires are probably original. They hold air for a length of time. The bike rolls freely with light resistance. Condition of brakes unknown. Overall this is a very good candidate for restoration as it still exists. It has most of its original parts and is a very hard model to find. Any investment in restoring this machine is certain to pay off. Email with questions. Buyer to pays $500 deposit with 2 days of auctions end and balance due within 7 days. I can assist with loading at you or your shippers convenience from my commercial location 45410.
