Safe predictable handling, crisp acceleration, smooth automatic transmission, and strong braking. Porsche obviously builds a very durable product. From the driving feel, one could easily mistake this Boxster for one only a few years old. Whether hustling down a curvey road, puttering in town, or opening it up on the interstate--this car felt right at home. During our 200 mile test loop, we noticed no signs of previous abuse, or any obvious mechanical problems. Nothing but a pleasure. Convertible top works without complaint and fits properly. Great experience overall. Cosemetic Impressions We walked around the car repeatedly looking for any scratches or dings that would mar the overall presentation and could not find a single one. Considering this Boxster is 15 years old, the condition is amazing. Paint is fresh and shiny. Interior is very clean with no odors, smells or evidence of rough treatment. Leather looks terrific. No signs of sun damage or mildew. Really well cared for. We have seen examples of these cars that are only a few years old that look less dialed in than ours. This will not be the cheapest used Boxster on Ebay, but all considered--it may be the best value for the dollar. Market Report A quick check of Midwest Car Max locations, local Porsche dealers and auction reports puts the retail range for low mile Boxsters at between $8500-$12500.
