1992 TOYOTA CAMRY SE SEDAN 6 CYL / MANUAL TRANS - NO RESERVE!! 3.0L V6 Engine Rare Manual Transmission Zero Accident History Rare SE Package Good Condition Tires New Car Trade-In No Reserve Auction! 70+ Pictures -- Please allow time to load! Vehicle Description: This is a 7-Day NO RESERVE auction for a 1992 Toyota Camry SE! HIGH BIDDER WINS! Rare SE Packaged, V6 Cylinder Engine, Manual Transmission, Zero Accident History, New Car Trade In! Check out the pictures! **** PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION VEHICLE ("STICK-SHIFT") BEFORE BIDDING **** Thank you for checking out my auction - please take the time to read the full description below and carefully examine the high resolution pictures. I try to describe the positives & negatives of this vehicle accurately in this description. There's no question why the Toyota Camry was the top selling car in America for many years = they're efficient, reliable, comfortable and stylish. This Camry has the very rare "SE" package with special alloy wheels, special bolstered seats, rear spoiler, not to mention the rare V6 / 5-speed Manual powertrain combination. This Camry runs & drives quite well! I purchased this vehicle from as a trade-in from a new car dealership in NW Ohio and have driven it about 200 miles since - it runs and drives quite nice! Autocheck shows that this car had only 4 previous owners and zero accident history. The 3.0 V6 engine runs strong with more than adequate power. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts smooth with no issues at all, goes through all the gears great, and appears to have a strong clutch. This Toyota is equipped with the SE package that includes power windows/ mirrors/locks, cruise control, special alloy wheels, sport-bolstered seats and more. Mechanically, this Toyota appears to be in quite good condition. The engine & transmission are 100% running and driving. The brakes stop the car straight, smooth and with more than adequate power. While driving the steering & suspension components appears to be in good shape - the steering is tight and there are no rattles. The suspension is smooth and doesn't make any noise. No vibrations noticed at all, even at high-way speeds. The car fires right up immediately when cold or warn. I noticed a very small amount of oil dripped on the ground after being parked inside for 2 nights and once while driving I smelled a very faint burnt oil smell after the exhaust heated up - my guess is it has a small valve cover gasket leak, which is common for V6 Toyota/Lexuses (although I haven't tried to trace the leak - it is so small I personally wouldn't worry about it on an older car like this). This Camry probably will need a new motor mount soon, as there is a little clunk when taking off harder and I can feel it in the shifter during spirited driving. The tires are all 205/65/15 size tires with sporty tread mounted on OEM alloy wheels that are in very nice condition. The tires all have good tread life remaining and will not need to be replaced soon (see pics). The vehicle drives straight down the road with no vibrations. Spare tire is present. The heat works well and the fan blows on all power levels and blows wherever you want it to (defrost, vents, floor, etc). The A/C does not appear to be working, although I have not tried to recharge it. The heat appears to be working properly. The Toyota is equipped with a Sony CDX-GT200 AM/FM/CD/AUX player that appears to be working well. The power antenna is not going up/down, it is stuck up. The check engine light has not been on while I've had this car and there are no other warning lights illuminated. The exhaust sounds good, a little throaty with the V6 compared to most Camrys. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. The engine runs smooth with no lack of power at all - very strong. All of the power windows, locks and mirrors appear to work like they should except the driver's power mirror doesn't respond to the controls. Like any car of this age, there are a couple quirks like high-beam lights don't "lock" into place (you can turn them on pulling back on the turn-signal but when you push forward they don't come on like they should ...except they did once for me), the parking/emergency brake isn't functioning (can be tricky with the manual trans), the top of the windshield washer fluid reservoir has cracked (windshield washers still working), and the plastic mount for the in-car fuel door / trunk release is cracked but you can still use those functions. Overall, quite a nice running and driving vehicle, I would not hesitate to drive this one anywhere! Cosmetically -- this vehicle leaves a little to be desired. The exterior paint is in poor shape and is faded throughout the top of the car. There are some dents, scratches, and rust that are all very typical of this generation Camry. I will let the pictures do the talking for the exterior shape. The windshield has two small chips (no cracks) and the rest of the windows are in good shape. The interior is in pretty nice shape. The cloth interior has no rips or major damage just some normal discoloration that would come out with a good detail. There is some discoloration in the carpets around where floor mats used to be that would probably come out with a good steam cleaning - a good detail would benefit this interior. There are no smoke or other odd odors inside the vehicle and I have not noticed any burn holes -- it appears to be a non-smoking vehicle. Door panels are all attached normally except the driver's door window switch panel has been glued on (must have previously broke the clips). The steering wheel has a cover on it, I haven't tried to remove it. It is missing one of the plastic kick panels near the lower driver foot well. The headliner is in good condition. Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. Overall, this Camry is a fun car to drive and if you don't mind a little paint-fade you can get a good deal! I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. Please remember that you are buying a used vehicle and that a certain amount of wear/use/flaws are to be expected on any used vehicle -- including this one. You are welcome and encouraged to come check out this vehicle for yourself and take it for a test drive before the auction ends. I have included over 50 pictures - please check out them out. Feel free to email/call me (Michael) at 734-717-3653 with specific questions and I will do my best to answer them. Auction Details & Payment Information: The vehicle is for sale locally as well so auction can end at any time. Bid with confidence as I have represented the vehicle well. There will be a $100 documentation fee added on to each vehicle sold. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction ending via paypal. The remaining balance will need to be paid within 7 days of the end of the auction by Cash or Cashier's Check. If you need financing, please have that arranged BEFORE the auction ends. Please only bid if you are 100% serious about buying this vehicle. This means you have a plan for shipping or picking up the vehicle and have the financial ability to pay for it. Due to high amounts of non-paying bidders recently, you must have a PayPal account associated with your eBay Account to bid on my auctions. Please make sure you have this, especially if you plan on waiting until the last hours to place a bid because it can take a while to set this up. Please do not take away someone else's opportunity to buy this vehicle by placing a bid without the full intention on purchasing it. Thank you! If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to call me at 734-717-3653. We are a licensed used vehicle dealer and must collect sales tax/title/plate fees so please contact me prior to the auction ending if you want to know what fees you will have to pay on top of the purchase price. Michigan residents will pay 6% sales tax, $15 title fee, and whatever your plate ends up being. For out of state buyers, each state is a different tax/title scenario. If this is a concern, please contact me before the auction ends and I will tell you exactly how much (if any) tax will be for your state. For out of state buyers, any taxes that are paid to me you will receive a credit in your home state (you will not be double-taxed). All out of state buyers will be required to purchase a 15-day temporary tag/registration for $10.00 without regard to how you are getting the car to your home state (shipping it or driving it) and you will need to send me a copy of proof of insurance for any vehicle you own. This is the State of Michigan's rule, not mine...but from browsing eBay $10 is probably the cheapest temp-tag of any state and you will be able to drive your car immediately and legally. In Michigan, all cars sold over 10 years old are marked as mileage exempt in accordance with Federal law. Basically, this means that the State stops keeping track of mileage on older cars, however Autocheck still does track the mileage and this vehicle is not known to have any mileage inaccuracies or discrepancies. Any New eBay bidders or those with zero feedback, please send us a message or give me call to confirm your contact information or your bid will be canceled. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. We will work with your shipper to help them in any way we can. We are located in Manchester, MI - a small town in SE Michigan about 20 minutes from Ann Arbor or about an hour from the Detroit or Toledo areas. We are on a main state highway, under 10 miles from the interstate. We can pick up from Detroit Metro Airport or Ann Arbor Amtrak station for free.
