I purchased this 1962 Austin Healey 3000 MK III replica on eBay in 2008 from a dealership in Sarasota, Florida. The vehicle had roughly 13,480 miles at that time. The current mileage is 16,137+/-. The vehicle was built in 1990 with a Small Block 305 and sounds completely amazing! Once again this vehicle idles, and rumbles unbelievably. It has been stored in my heated garage and only driven occasionally. It possesses an automatic transmission with American Racing Rims. Minor (very minor) curb rash on one rim and plenty of tread on all 4 tires! It has a black rag top in perfect condition with a matching boot for when the top is down. As you can see the car is meant to be driven without the top or the boot but they do come with the sale of the vehicle. The only imperfection worth mentioning is the car has a small crack in the very corner of the windshield. It is roughly 1 inch from the corner (please see pic) and doesn't affect the inspection here in Pennsylvania. My low reserve takes this into account. This is a very small crack if noticeable and has not increased in size in the last 7 years of ownership due to the location. I wanted to disclose this fact even if you inspected the car in person I would probably have to point this out. This is a clean, sporty ride that is very reliable and fun to drive! I am reluctant to sale this vehicle but shortly will have 2 children in college.
