Vehicle Detail
Roadrunner sleeper station wagon! For real!! This car is one of 31 1969 Plymouth Satellite station wagons with a factory equip 383-4 barrel HP motor. It is full of all kinds of high performance options! It has 727 automatic transmission, 323 sure grip gears in a 489 case, 26" 440 radiator, air conditioning and a FACTORY TACH!! Heavy duty suspension, hemi wheels, sway bar and trailer hitch. At some point, someone attempted to steal the radiator. The shroud was destroyed and the side straps of the radiator have been pried loose. The radiator is still holding fluid. This is a Lynch Road assembled vehicle, so the fender tag does not list all the awesome options!! This is a California car that I've had for about 3 years. I've gone back and forth about what to do with it.... Use all of the powertrain and options in another car or restore. There is damage between the driver's side door and fender, affecting the cowl. The spare tire well also has some rust. Photos are included. The motor turns over and we did have it running briefly. The gas tank was rough and we removed it. It will run by bottle feeding. The lifters don't seem to be picking up so I haven't run it long. The motor is numbers matching. The transmission looks to have been replaced with a 69 440 Imperial transmission at some point. What you do with it is up to you!! Reserve has been set to what we feel the parts are worth. Thanks for viewing and email with any questions.
