I apologize in advance to those of you viewing this who are experienced with Ebay. This info is for those who are not. 1. If this is your first auction or you are new to ebay, please take the time to research how auctions work on the ebay site under the help section. It is important that you understand what bidding and buying on ebay means and you are entering into a contract. If you bid and win an ebay auction. You are expected to follow through with your purchase by submitting payment according to the terms listed. And you are expected to read the listing details prior to placing a bid. If you place a bid and win an auction and DON'T submit payment, you will be reported to ebay and get appropriate feedback. I cannot get refunded the ebay final value fee unless I open a case against someone who does not submit payment. 2. Learn what a Buy It Now option, Reserve price, and starting bid is. The buy it now price for this listing is $4000. Does that mean I expect to sell this car for $4000. No. It means I am giving that option. We have been approached in the past with this figure from interested parties when we were not ready to sell. If you are not interested in the Buy it Now price then don't chose that option. I set this up as an Auction with a starting bid of $200 and a low Reserve price. 3. Don't ask me what the Reserve price is. In fairness to all bidders I am not going to give out that information. It's an auction. That means you submit your highest/best bid and see where that lands you. You have the option to increase your bid if you chose to. I will tell you (because you can look it up yourself under completed listings) that the car already sold to the previous winner for $830. So that tells you my Reserve price is lower than, or at least no higher than $830. 4. Please don't bid unless you are serious about purchasing this vehicle. It doesn't do either of us any good if you fail to follow through with a purchase. I get final value fee back but not listing fees. And you get a strike against your account and negative feedback. Payment through certified bank/cashier's check from a USA bank .... or Cash in person. Check or cash must clear account or be verified by my bank as authentic. If bank states that check must be cleared in order to be verified, delivery shall not take place until payment has cleared. If cashier's check comes from a bank with a branch that is local to me, where I can cash in person, then delivery can take place same day once check has cleared said bank. Deposit option through paypal is acceptable, remainder of payment must still happen as above stated. The reason for these rules if that I work at a bank and have seen many scams with fake bank checks. Car is gone and check comes back 2 weeks later as a fake and seller is out of luck.
