This is a very rare, garage kept, Suzuki Sidekick, that I have maintained carefully. I purchased the car in 2000 with 54,000 from a woman in NE Pennsylvania to use as an "island car" on Martha's Vineyard. Over the past 15 years I have only put 20,000 on the car, and I have performed all necessary maintenance. It has resided in a garage in a vacation home the entire time, used only sporadically during the vacation season. There have been no accidents at all under my ownership, and none that I was aware of prior to my purchase in 2000. Very small area of rust at front of left rear wheel well that just needs a little Bondo to repair. I put a scratch in the driver's door paint with a thick bush in the front yard several years ago - no dent, just a scratch. Other than these blemishes the body is as perfect as one could hope for in a 1994 vehicle. Interior is spotless. Everything works - A/C, all power windows and locks, radio, - everything. What further distinguishes the vehicle is the maintenance. I do all my own maintenance, and I have a full service history/logs since 2000 which I will provide with vehicle. I use Mobil One Synthetic Oil. I will list the serviced items by system: Cooling: New radiator, new GMB water pump, new antifreeze, new thermostat, new fan belt (<5000 miles ago). Charging: New alternator (2015). Engine Timing: New timing belt, idler bearing, timing belt tensioner (<5000 miles ago) Tune-up: New NGK spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor (<5000 miles ago) Fuel: New gas tank (11 gal capacity), new fuel pump/strainer. Brakes: New front pads, new front calipers, system flushed/re-bled. Tires: Excellent, with >80% tread left (Yokohama Geolander) Interior: New driver's window track/motor, both R + L side rear window tracks/motors - all replaced in 2014. Exterior: Tow hitch (frame mount) with towing signal/brake adapter installed. This is an incredibly tough vehicle. It is built on a full frame - it really is a small truck with 4 doors. The transmission has 2 speeds with automatic coupling front hubs. In low gear, I swear this vehicle would almost climb the side of a barn. I used it a few times on the beach sand, and it is just incredible. One time in Boston in 2002 we had a very large snowstorm. I was one of the very few vehicles still making forward progress, albeit slowly. Do not let the age concern you - this is one, very rugged vehicle with much life left. It needs nothing at all. I am a perfectionist. I will consider delivering this vehicle along the corridor from Virginia Beach/D.C./Baltimore/New York/Boston corridor for a very nominal fee. Vehicle must be paid for in advance.
