The car was purchased new at Atlas Motors Volkswagen in 1966. Aside from being one year in San Francisco the car has been in Arizona and New Mexico for 38 years hence no rust problems. The car is running well and the motor has never needed an overhaul. The interior was restored to the original black and had one repaint in 1980 to the original Bahama Blue. The car has been kept in a garage most of sthe time. A new solenoid was replaced in 2014 otherwise no other mechanical repair has been done. The car reuns well and is used around town for errands. It has been well maintrained over the years. The buyer will arrange possesion and transportation of the vehical.
