In 2014-2015, this truck has had most of its' major mechanical components replaced with new parts from military surplus, including: new 6.2L Detroit Diesel engine including mounts (replaced at just over 82,000 on odometer; this new engine has approximately 2,600 miles on it) all under hood hoses replaced all belts replaced (February 17, 2015 by Performance Diesel in Green Bay, WI) AC Delco 60 glow plugs with block heater new fuel tank, pumps, and lines new TH400 transmission with mounts (December 2014), new transfer case and torque converter (December 2014) new power steering pump and new fan clutch new front and rear driveshafts new alternators and wiring new 24 volt gear reduction starter with correct support bracket and upgraded 200amp starter relay new dual exhaust (2015) new front inner and outer fenders; (this was a TX truck during it's military career; solid body all around; SEE PICS) new windshield and seals (2015); all door seals replaced front end drag link, pitman joints replaced and adjusted with alignment (February 17, 2015 by Performance Diesel in Green Bay,WI) full service and inspection (oil change with filter, new fuel filter, coolant service) (February 17, 2015 by Performance Diesel in Green Bay,WI) *all work performed at rodzshop in NY unless as noted above* BOTH front and rear axles are Detroit Lockers with 4.56 gear ratio I drove this truck from NY to Green Bay, WI with no difficulties. Service and inspection done by Performance Diesel in Green Bay, WI 2 weeks ago. The auction also includes a new, original mil spec seat cover to to replace the existing one on the bench seat as there is a tear on driver's side.
