1979 GMC Sierra Grand ‘Heavy Half’ Pickup. 350 4V, Turbo 350, PS, PB, Gauge Pkg, Tilt Wheel, Dual Tanks, Cardinal Exterior with Carmine Red Interior. Two Owners, First owner from Washington State owned until 2014, 53K original miles. All original including paint, interior, trim, motor, carb, transmission, glass, am radio, even the ‘Heavy Half’ stickers, etc… The body is rust free and it has never been in an accident. The interior is in outstanding condition, the floors are perfect and there are no speaker holes in the doors. The dash pad is perfect. The original owner had a seat cover since new. The seat upholstery, with the exception of one tear, looks great. The original paint has patina and some surface rust but is still very shiny and looks great. The only things that are not original are the rally wheels (with the correct GMC center caps), new BF Goodridge TA Radials, and a new carpet kit in the correct color from Classic Industries. The truck was tuned up last fall and it passed Oregon’s strict emissions test. It runs/drives/shifts great and everything works. I have all four original keys, original dealer’s key ring, dealer’s license plate holders, manuals, and warranty card. I get compliments everywhere I go in this truck, people seem to love it. I’ve had three of these trucks over the years and this one is the nicest.
