Vehicle Detail

Price dropped again - MUST SELL! $8000 and it's yours!! Selling my parents' mint condition 2006 Toyota Camry. Excellent inside and out. Low mileage. Clear title (see explanation below). I looked up comparable values in Kelly Blue Book, NADA, and Car Gurus: all in the $10k - $11.5k for a clean private sale. You can drive this home for $8000 Buy It Now, with a $500 deposit required within 24 hours of close of the auction (PayPal preferred). About the title hit: I have the original purchase mileage statement from the dealer - scanned for your viewing. I think my then 80+ year old dad may have not taken it with him when he registered the car and so New York State DMV entered it as unconfirmed mileage. I have the year to year description from Car Fax and it shows gradually increasing mileage appropriate to this starting point. I do not believe there is anything wrong with the mileage other than an administrative error when my dad registered it back in 2006. Also, the heat shield question: I took the car to the Toyota dealer (Steet Toyota) and their service person said he could not confirm if there was ever a heat shield on this car. He said some do and some don't, and that people do sometimes take them off if they rattle. The dealer parts department picture covers several years of Camry and there is a shield pictured. Also found out that this car was made for sale in New Jersey and that the heat shield is not required on that model/state of sale. Research the VIN to confirm. Also regarding airports: I live between Albany and Syracuse (in New York state of course). Either is a comfortable drive but I usually recommend the Albany airport to friends because they have more carriers and a better selection of flights and sometimes they are also cheaper. Yes, I would pick you up at either airport and we can either drive back to Rome and drop me off, or if you prefer I can get my own transportation back and you can leave once we complete our paperwork. Any other questions: ask. Thanks for looking!
