1978 Ford F250 Ranger XLT Camper Special. This is a very rare combination of options and trim level for a 1978 Ford pickup truck. It is in very good shape inside and out. The two tone paint appears to be original to me, with the exception of some minor rust repair and repaint around the wheel wells. Other than that there is no visible signs of any other rust on this truck body other than typical surface rust in the bed. The interior also appears to be original to the truck. The mileage is correct at 75,168. It starts runs and drives like it is brand new! I have just completed an oil change including oil filter, air filter, gas filter, and a new mechanical fuel pump as needed. The A/C blows ice cold and all of the power accessories work on this truck, including the cruise control. It has a newer battery too. The dual gas tanks both have fresh gas and fuel stabilizer added, and the tank switch works properly as well. The tires are newer BF Goodrich and they are in great shape with no abnormal wear or cracking. The hubcaps and beauty rings are all there and in fantastic shape. The muffler is intact and sounds factory correct. The bed of this truck has certainly been used, but again, there is no rust through at all, only small amount of surface rust typical to a truck bed of this age.
