Here is my sweet 91 MR2 Turbo with Fresh Motor, New ATS CT27 Turbo and new Paint. Got this a few years ago from my dad with 155,000 miles on it. Needed a water pump so of course I decided to just do a complete rebuild with some better go fast parts. Fast Forward to a couple of years later and here's what she's got: **One of the first made as it comes with no fog lights (most mr2 turbos after mid 1991 run came with fog lights from the factory. Over 4k invested in rebuilt motor/turbo alone! New Paint in original Nautical Blue Metallic. You have to see this color to believe it, with lots of hues of blue and purple as you walk around it! Aftermartket clear corners/signals, with smoke background. Motor has less than 4k miles since rebuild and that includes the CT 27 turbo which was added with new motor. Engine: CT 27 turbo, motor recently rebuilt from reputable Mr2 shop (have build receipts). 3" down pipe and CAI added. Turbo is set to 15psi currently with manual boost controller. Colder ngk spark plugs. Car will absolutely fly. Walbro 255 fuel pump (in case you want to push it into the higher psi range)Transmission: Stage 2 clutch installed with new motor, 5 speed manual. upgraded to shorter 93+ model shifterSuspension: H&R springs as well as new struts all around, as well as new strut mounts in front. Rides like a sports car should.Brakes: vented Discs up front, regular discs in rear, pads are 60+ percent all aroundExterior: Repainted less than 1 year ago in original Nautical Blue Metallic (one of the rarer colors of these cars) Pictures don't do the paint justice! Pop up headlights work perfectly. Wheels are 15" gunmetal color 5-spokes. Tires are Kumhos, 80+% in rear; less than 1000 miles on front TiresInterior: Leather interior: Small tear on drivers side support. All black. All plastics/panels are in place and in great shape! Air/Fuel gauge and aftermarket boost gauge on driver a-pillar. Currently has my pioneer touchscreen installed that will NOT be included with the car. Kicker replaced 6" sub behind driver seat and alpine mid level speakers/ Tweeters in both doors with upgraded/updated speaker wire for all speakers. Add a stereo of your choosing and you have a great sound system for this car.Problems issues: Not many to name really,Small tear in driver's seat side bolster. Power antenna works, but I currently have it unplugged because the gear that raises and lowers it sometimes decides to continue to spin for about 5 seconds after it has retracted and would eventually wear the nylon gears/teeth BUT, the car still gets good radio reception even without the antenna because it has a second antenna built into the windshield, so I have had no problems with radio reception even with antenna down. That's pretty much it!Car rides and drives as it should. Gets about 30-32 mpg on highway at 65-70mph (used it to drive out of town quite a bit as soon as motor was broken in). 0-60 mph in around 4.7-5.0 sec flat I would say as it sits with good shifting. Don't want to see it go but need to sell to help fund new house build.
