1957 BMW R60 Barn Find.Frame VIN #618234 makig this the 234th R60 off the line.Motor #661875 making this a R69S motor. The motor is stuck and the right cylinder,head and valve cover are from a R60.There are 2 R60 carbs with the left carb having a hole in the bottom of it. The handlebars and mirrors are rustywith the mirrors being clamp ons.Makes them throw aways anyway.This is otherwise a complete bike though mismatched numbers. I prefer to sell as a complete bike but will part out if it does not sell.Do not see to many early bikes for sale and they are getting harder to find.If I can find a reasonably priced R69S cylinder,head etc i will try to complete the motor.Carbs are always expensive. Bought this from a man coming down with dementia so he cannot remember a lot .He says he has a title but cannot find it.DMV cannot find it in there system due to 35 year lapse in registration.On Feb-25-15 at 14:46:38 PST, seller added the following information: Just added pictures of the right side R69S head and valve cover. valves and exhaust threads look excellent. The valve cover does have some epoxy applied to it. Last of the parts so no cylinder. This will help get you a little farther along and decrease parts you need for the rebuild.
