Up for sale is my 68 Camaro RS Convertible 327 4 speedI bought the car a couple months ago with intentions to do a full restoration on it, I had the car shipped to a buddy of mine's mechanic shop In Dearborn Heights Michigan because I am in Florida for the winter. I have never seen the car in person, But I did have my buddy tinker with the engine and he did get it running (he said it ran pretty good too!). He also checked the engine numbers and confirmed it was a matching number with the vin. (he didn't ck the trans but said it looks original too. He said its a complete car and looks all original.) We'll things have changed for me since buying the car I decided to make Florida my permanent residence and am now buying a home down here.I just don't have the connections to do the restoration down here.I know the car is rusty and needs floors, at least lower quarters and rockers and possibly a drivers door. The trunk floors could be repaired per the guy I bought it from. (again I haven't seen it) also there is some extra parts in the trunk.I don't want anyone to buy this car thinking your going to throw a little bondo on the quarter panel and your good to go.I also have a lot of the original paperwork for the car including the original window sticker and owners manual. These cars are getting harder and harder to find, this one has all the goodies with the matching number v8, 4 speed and drop top also all the paperwork helps . I know done right these cars are 60k . I not going to B.S. anyone I have $9500. in it and would like to get my investment back, I think that was a good deal for this rare car. I will look at all reasonable offers but ill just sit on it for a year until I get settled down here and build it before I give it away. As you guys know, all parts are available for this car.
