1965 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door started out as a LTD bench seat car used 500 front and rear plus console from 66 galaxie,car only has 47000 miles engine was rebuilt two years ago complete rebuild all new, car has very little rust under hood where battery sits, and some small areas in rear floor boards, very small amount, car was painted 6 years ago and is starting to show wear. car is 50 years old. Great driver factory air that works, power steering and brakes all work, have 4 wheel disk brake kit NOT INSTALLED cost over $1000 goes with car. hidden radio with 10 disk changer amp and subs installed in trunk cost over $1000 also, seats were recovered last year and carpet headliner in great shape, still needs a few small things done to finish. health reason can no longer work on car it just sits in garage or in driveway under cover, this is sad car was meant to be driven daily. Car will crank up and run at first turn of starter and would drive anywhere with no problem just need drum brakes updated to disk to be safe on roads with todays anti-lock systems in other cars., new alum radiator battery starter alum overfill bottle. alum intake 4 barrel carb, new 2/1/2 exhaust new tires and wheels $1800, 352 engine auto trans It has a oil leak at rear of engine may be rear main seal, not bad leak just small amount of oil in area. I have spent over $6500 on car myself not including labor cost, in last 2 years good deal for good looking car Car is not a show car it is a great daily driver as it was meant to be, paint job and few minor details and it could be.
