THIS AUCTION IS FOR 2 -1973 SUZUKI RV 125 TRACKERS! Up for auction are 2 1973 Suzuki RV 125 tracker's from my collection. When I purchased these, and right before storage, these were running, driving machines. Read carefully, they are NOT running at this time. I am knee-deep in a 1965 Mustang restoration and need the money and the space. Since I primarily collect vintage Honda's these two Suzuki's are the oddballs and the one's I'm willing to part with. I do not have the time or the inclination to fiddle with these and get them running. What this means to the buyer is if you are handy YOU will need to fiddle with them, if you are not, plan on spending a few bucks at your local bike shop. As I said both these bikes ran and drove perfectly when stored in a heated garage. When I got them they were completely disassembled, all parts cleaned, painted, polished, repaired, or replaced. Gas tanks were flushed out, carbs rebuilt, oil changed, plugs and air filters replaced. Painstakingly reassembled, all moving parts greased. All electrics worked when parked, and as I said started and ran fine. I do not have the tools to replace the points or set the timing on these so they are probably original and should be changed. Bike "A" is the nicer of the two. It is super clean,100% original, 2200 miles. Easily a local show winner. Chrome, seat, plastics, and paint are excellent. It has the original air pump and tool kit. I also have a new battery for it that I will install. This bike is worthy of any collection. I dumped some gas in and it will fire with starting fluid but won't stay running. The 1st 12 Pictures are of Bike "A". Bike "B" is still a really nice, respectable piece. 1900 miles. The handlebars, tachometer, and blinkers are not original, but period correct. The tachometer cable is missing, no tool kit, air pump, or battery (they will run without a battery, tho). Has only 1 mirror. The seat has some tears that were repaired, the rear fender and exhaust shield had some dents I straightened. I had paint professionally mixed to touch up the scratches. Still an extremely presentable piece that would'nt take much to be perfect. This one now has no spark and kickstarter does'nt always engage. I did remove the casing and inspect starter gears, all OK, weak engagement spring perhaps? Like Bike "A", Bike "B" was running and driving when put into storage. The last 12 pictures are of Bike "B". With a little work you can have one for show, one for go, His and Her's, or a lifetime of spare parts. I took into consideration that these are not running at present and set the reserve accordingly. The titles have been lost over the years, but you can get a replacement for varying degrees of ease and fees depending in which state you live in. They will come with a bill of sale.
