0 0 1 402 2295 Kennedy Partners 19 5 2692 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1958 Triumph TR3A TS22381 - Very early 3A Heritage Certificate This is a rust free Triumph. I bought the car about 2 years ago to have it completely restored from it's original, 55 year old condition -- originally a southern California car, it had been sitting in a garage in Glendale, AZ for over 25 years. 50,000 +/- original miles. I have had much mechanical work done professionally - too much to list really. Engine: Carburetor(s) rebuilt New Pertronix ignition, new wires and plugs Reconditioned radiator, new hoses water pump and thermostat New aluminum "TRIUMPHTUNE" valve cover Spin off oil filter conversion (not installed) New clutch, fluid lines and master cylinder New fuel pump and oil pump New stainless steel exhaust Engine, transmission and rear-end have been drained, cleaned and re-gasketed Chassis: The steering is completely rebuilt Front brakes - new rotors, rebuilt calipers, new pads, new hard and flex lines Rear Brakes - new brake cylinders, pads, springs and turned drums, new hard and flex lines New brake master cylinder and reservoir All new poly suspension fittings Everything underneath (frame, pan, inner fenders, suspension components, etc) has been cleaned, sanded primed and painted in gloss black Rebuilt rear shocks 5 new Firestone 560 radial black-walls 5 original steel wheels with 4 "Triumph globe" hubcaps New Parts (not installed): New windshield glass New aluminum grill New tonneau cover 2 new Lucas fog lamps New fender piping and stone guards New tail lamps New hood and boot hinges and mirrors I have an original metal hard top for the roadster. This includes new glass, rubber, and bright trim and attachment fittings. The engine compartment has been finished in Triumph "Apple Green", which is a correct color for the 1958 model year. It is also the color used by Triumph in 1958 for their "Works" rally cars. The original finish for this car is Pearl White. Exterior: The car is apart and almost ready for primer Needs chrome work - windshield frame, headlight bezels, etc. Needs new bumper and over-riders Needs new door handles Needs new door, trunk and spare tire boot rubber Interior: The dash, gauges and steering wheel horn/turn signal section need restoration Needs complete new carpet and upholstery The wiring harness has been disconnected at the dash and dash removed for paint. I have over $23,000 invested -- with the exception of the dash (complete and original); all of the tough stuff is done. I need to cash out on this car as soon as possible (daughter in college - poor planning). My loss is your gain. This car will take approximately $12,000 to finish and will have a value in the mid 30's when complete.
