BACKGROUND With a 250 horsepower turbocharged flat engine, all wheel drive, and a quick steering rack, this car is extremely fun to drive! It goes from 0 to 60 in 5.7 seconds (per Car and Driver) without sacrificing comfort or everyday practicality.I am the original owner and have maintained this vehicle as if I planned to drive it forever. It is ready for the next owner to drive! The car has no significant mechanical issues and no known leaks. Several maintenance items were recently performed (see below), and most maintenance records are available. The paint was recently clay treated and waxed - the pearl white paint really shines! WEAR DESCRIPTION - Driver side seat heater no longer operates (commonly reported failure for this model) - Clutch fork pivot sometimes creaks mildly when depressing pedal in cold weather. This is caused by a lack of lubrication on the clutch fork pivot point, and normally subsides once warmed up. This is a very common, but minor annoyance on 2005 Legacy GTs. It does not affect the operation or integrity of the clutch. - Scrape on front passenger side bumper below fog light. This scrape was caused by low speed contact with a landscaping boulder that was not visible when pulling into a narrow driveway. No metal parts were scratched, so there is no risk of rust there (see photo).- Some minor surface-only rust on the inside of the driver side front door. It is not on the actual edge of the door, but rather along the seam near the bottom of the door where the steel was rolled during manufacturing. It is not visible on the exterior of the car when the door is closed, and is very unlikely to ever spread to the exterior of the vehicle. I would consider the minor corrosion at this location to be normal for a 2005 vehicle. - Some minor door dings, typical of what's expected for a 2005 vehicle (paint not compromised) - Some curb scuffs on wheels. All wheels/tires are true and balanced. - Auto dimming rearview mirror appears pitted, but does not affect dimming functionality or visibility. This seems to happen to ALL of Subaru's auto-dimming mirrors over time. Original non-dimming rearview mirror is available if requested.- Please contact me with any questions regarding the vehicle condition.
