Spectacular Gorgeous Elegant Low Mileage 1956 Bentley S1 - A California Car since 1969 - 31,100 Original Miles The car for sale in this auction is a beautiful 2 tone silver 1956 Bentley S1 we call "the Silver Bentley". It only has 31,100 original miles! I have provided documents showing that it was imported in 1969 with only 20,987 miles. I have also provided the appraisals that were conducted on the Silver Bentley in 1967 and 1969. I have lots of other service receipts that will go to the new owner. It runs fantastic. Please note that this is a right hand drive car! Not a perfect car, but the two-tone silver paint is really spectacular and it was painted about two years ago. It does needs brake work. It is not drivable until the brakes are finished. Bumpers are usable but perfectionists like me think they needs re-chroming and the picnic tables need refinishing. Plus, a few other interior items need care. Always something with old cars. Rust is a huge issue with all British cars, but this car appears to have nominal rust around the rocker panels and is not visible. One of the least rusty Bentley S1s I have ever seen. But with only 31,100 miles and spending most of its life in California - it has been spared. Please note that I have already spent hundreds purchasing new brake lines and replacement brake parts. ”The Silver Bentley" is 58 years old and needs some work as detailed above. But the paint looks like a million dollars and it has spectacular potential. It is a classic head turner. The two toned silver paint tells the world that this car is unique.
