Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this very attractive 1976 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 1600 sedan. This is a wonderful-driving car that is quite original and correct. Blu Olandese (navy blue) over Tobacco interior. Odometer reads 73k km. Imported from Italy about a year ago -- all import docs (and the original Italian number plates) are included and the car currently has clear North Carolina title. Paint and body are generally excellent -- appears to have had one repaint in the correct color that shows very well. Original paint in door jambs and engine compartment. No rust issues topside or bottom and no evidence of accident damage; gaps are very good. Close inspection reveals that it was not completely de-trimmed for paint but finish quality is nice. Glass is excellent; chrome is in good condition but short of show quality. Interior is mostly original and in remarkable condition. Coco mats complete the look and are certainly in period. Dash pad, upholstery, wood, etc. are all quite nice; headliner is in good condition with minor staining. The wood steering wheel is gorgeous. New three point seat belts front and rear have been added. Correct jack and spare tire included. All in all it shows as a very nice driver -- and driving is what this Alfa is all about... The twin cam 1600 with dual Webers pulls strong and sounds great. Gearbox feels good, steering and suspension are tight, four wheel disc brakes are impressive with great feel. Jaeger gauges are gorgeous and all are working properly. Although in nice condition when imported, the owner bought and prepped this Giulia to use for a few classic car rallies and his mechanic recently went through and addressed any mechanical needs -- within the last 2000 miles it got new tires (Vredestein classics), pads and rotors, new electric fuel pump, oil service, valve adjustment, cam cover gaskets, full tune up, trans mount, diff reseal, and more. Shocks replaced within the last two years. Service records are included as well as old Italian registrations. It's completely turn key and the best driving Alfa of this vintage we have ever experienced, offered at considerably less than amount invested.
