This car is a1959 Studebaker Lark two door hardtop. This car is just a great little driver. This is the first year for the Lark. I picked the car up several years ago with no engine in place. I installed a used engine and then had to replace most of the other parts. I had a new core put in the radiator, rebuilt the generator and starter, added all new hoses and belts, and refreshed the wiring . New brakes, shocks, and tires. The gas tank was removed dipped .I added a electric fuel pump, which seems to eliminate vapor lock problems related to the ethanol fuel. The body is very nice. The paint shows its age but is ok. The interior is very nice and I think all original. I did install a new radio and antenna. The current engine in the car now has just been rebuilt professionally. The block was stripped and sent to a machine shop - all rings, bearings, pump, gaskets, and a new clutch were professionally installed about 100 miles ago.
