This listing is for a 1979 MGB LE. It is in excellent driver condition! Very clean, dry car. It looks like an older restoration that is just starting to show age. Paint shrinkage here and there with minor imperfections. There is a dent on the hood on the passenger side about half way down and about 3 inches in... The passenger's side door has a crease in it as shown. The paint is so shiny and reflective that it made it difficult to show any flaws. We gave it a new fuel pump and it now idles like it is supposed to. The car rides and drives fabulously! The following NEW fiddlebits have been added over the last 4 - 5 months as the car was sitting for a few years in storage: Front Brake Seals Front Brake Pads Front Brake Rotors Tie Rod Ends Alternator/Fan Belt Fuel Pump Fuel Sending Unit Gas Tank Rear Wheel Cylinders Rear Wheel Adjusters Spark Plugs Clutch Slave Cylinder & Hose Hood Insulation Pad The wheels have been refurbished and new tires mounted. The carbuerator was also rebuilt. The convertible top is in new condition with a tight, firm fit. There is also a front bra, the convertible top boot and the tonneau cover that are all in excellent condition. A box of additional parts are in the trunk including a new stripe kit, 3 new wiper blades, new polished alloy MG valve cover, etc... The door panels and carpet are all very good and this car has a set of the MG rubber floor mats as well. The seats are in good original condition with there being a small tear on the driver's seat back. Wheels and tires are in excellent condition! Jump in and drive it away... : ) The Limited Edition (LE) MGB was produced in model years 1979 and 1980 and most came with black interiors. Each had the front chin spoiler, a chrome rear luggage rack, unique cast alloy wheels, silver lower body stripes with the British flag emblem and a dash plaque announcing the LE designation. The dash plaque is missing on this one, but you can see where it used to be. My wife always points things out and makes them sound worse than they are.
