Ready to tackle a tough restoration project for this winter? This 1967 (Summer of Love!) Toyota Land Cruiser has a rare steering-column mounted shift lever. I wish I had had the time and resources to finish the restoration because it's going to be a very cool truck when complete. The FJ has been in a garage since 2011. Here's what I know so far. The entire body tub will have to be replaced. All of the rest of the body is intact but also has rust holes or spots. Everything is original (except the blue carpet a prior owner glued to the rear interior--what was he thinking?). The prior owner also painted the vehicle dark green (please don't judge the truck on his tastes!), but the original "Horizon Blue" color can be seen. Likely, the roof will also need to be completely replaced. I did not attempt any mechanical work. I do not know the condition of the mechanical systems. The doors, hood, windshield, side windows, rear tailgate, passenger seat, and rear doors are all included (see separate photos) but have been removed from the body. Purchase includes both the original Owner's Manual (not pictured) and the Haynes Toyota Land Cruiser Automotive Repair Manual (1968-1982). Here's a chance to get a great truck to restore and be proud of. The parts on this truck are worth more than the total "Buy It Now" price. This is a $250 price reduction from last week's auction. However, I am motivated to sell and willing to accept the "Buy It Now" price.
