Up for auction is a 1980 Porsche 911 SC Targa project / barn find car. The car was recently acquired from a gentleman who purchased it from a Los Angeles Police Department auction in 1982. Meaning that the car was only on the road for roughly two years before it was stolen and stripped. From the LAPD auction the car was taken to the gentleman's garage where it has been parked inside since 1982 until now. The car's original engine and transmission were taken and are not included in this auction. However, I have another Porsche 911 3.0 engine that is included in the auction (see pictures). Engine will probably have to be rebuilt. The car is solid and accident free with NO RUST. Sold in as is condition due to its project condition and history and comes with a Bill of Sale and no title (car is no-longer in the DMV system). However, for you international bidders, I would be willing to apply for a California title, which takes roughly 2 weeks and would cost you an additional $200.
