1965 Electric Powered Dune Buggy. This unique dune buggy has been completely gone through and all electric conversions have less than 20 hours use. First the drive train...Rebuilt transaxle, Bearings and Brakes. New disc brakes in front and rear hubs in rear. "Turning Brakes" work perfect. NEW rear heavy duty shocks (with adjustable overload springs for comfortable smooth ride). Corvette rims and great wide sporty tires all around. New steering dampner. New 12 volt electrical wiring kit with all labeled blade fuses. The electric conversion as stated earlier has under 20 hours use and is under warranty from the manufacturer. Upgraded Curtis 1231 120-144 volt DC Controller... New D&D 120-144 volt DC motor. NEW Curtis potentiometer fb-6 . NEW Curtis Albright 200 contactor. New Curtis emergency disconnect system. NEW 120 Volt DC charger that conveniently plugs into any 110 volt outlet. (The 12 volt main and 120 volt is connected where just one plug is all thats needed). 10 – 12Volt Battery pack (deep sealed odorless gel batteries) Comes with a 4 year warranty. Will travel at least 50 miles per charge and charges about 4 hours. NEW relay and heavy guage wiring harness to ensure ultimate safety and premium operation. NEW Gauges… High voltage, High Amp, Low Amp, Hour Meter plus two extra gauges and 4 auxillary 12 volt plug ins. Stereo System. NEW carpet kit and NO rips or tears on the seats. The body has no dents but is in fair condition due to the clear coat wearing off and with alterations for the EV. The leather top is showing signs of wear but is weather proof and can easily be removed to enjoy the sun. This vehicle turns heads! To say it is unique is an understatement.
