This 2000 Lincoln Continental starts right up and lot drives, but has some mechanical and cosmetic issues. It is an AUTOMATIC transmission and V8. The Carfax report shows 3 previous owners and 4 accidents, all with MINOR DAMAGE. Two were rear end accidents, one an animal strike, and one it went into a ditch. There is no significant damage on the vehicle currently besides rust, small scratches, and wear on trim pieces.

As far as we know, it was being driven on a regular basis by the previous owners. With repairs and TLC this might be a good car for someone.

This vehicle starts right up and lot drives. See pictures for the amount of tread on tires, about 2/32 or 3/32 or 4/32inch. All tires are holding air. The check engine light is on. The SRS light is on intermittently. Both outer tie rods are very loose. The front sway bar links are loose. The transmission sometimes squeals. The battery is not holding a strong charge in the cold weather. The passenger front window is not going down. I did not have a chance to test the cruise control.

The check engine light is on.

During a brief inspection, the mechanic noted the ignition switch does not always work. It appears to work better when the brake is applied. If you purchase this vehicle, apply the brake to turn the key to run, and then HOLD the brake to start the engine.

Cosmetic/Body issues: Please see all pictures. Please note some black dirt on the car. The paint is in fairly good condition and there are no significant dents. This vehicle needs a full cleaning including the headliner. Interior odor is ok. The dash works correctly and all buttons are in good condition. The radio works correctly. Power locks, sunroof, and power seats work correctly.

There is rust around the body and underside of the vehicle. The underside appears to only have surface rust and is in perfectly drivable condition. PLEASE SEE PICTURES. Some interior trim is damaged or scuffed and there are many stains. We didn’t notice any windshield cracks and the rest of the glass looks good.

The vehicle comes with a damaged but functional fob remote and an OEM key.

The vehicle may have a few more miles on it due to being driven around for

inspection and pictures.
