Ford built this car for the uber-enthusiast. With the optional track package you get two keys. One with a special program built just for the racetrack and one for daily driving. The entire dynamics of the engine are changed when you use this key, with 400-600 parameters changed. The Boss has 35,000 miles left on the factory warranty. It comes with the factory car cover that is still in the package. The oil has been changed with full synthetic once a year at the Ford dealer. This car comes with an overwhelming amount of documentation. The race package booklets, all service records, window stickers etc, etc... Interior: The twin bucket Recaro race seats are of brilliant design and have plenty of bolster for the racetrack. The classic ball shifter has the pattern neatly etched atop to be sure you are in the right gear. There are subtle Boss 302 stamps throughout the classic interior. The kicker subwoofer in the rear delivers quite a punch. The monogrammed carpets are a must. The interior is in excellent condition, as you would expect for a low mileage vehicle. Exterior: The blue paint is in excellent condition and looks great combined with the black gloss painted race wheels. Pirelli P-Zero's take care of the grip for the massive power. Rear aftermarket 6 tear aluminum louvers have been added to the rear window for fastback flair. Black vinyl wraps the roof for a great contrast. The hood was repainted under warranty at Ford due to a defect on the robot arms grabbing the aluminum hood. It retains a 5 year warranty on the paint. The rear bumper has small cracks in the clear coat due to the sun. The front chin spoiler is for added down force in a race situation and also gives the car a very aggressive style. Drivetrain: With one of the most endearing V-8s on the planet, the Boss is sure to put a smile on your face. The 444hp heart of the beast let’s loose if you are not careful. You should be prepared if you put this car in track mode because you are in for a heck of a ride! The four adjustable shocks make the car drivable in any situation. The factory limited slip differential effectively puts all that power to the ground. Original exhaust restrictors are removed which creates quite an aggressive rumble. There is an aftermarket oil catch can that directs any oil blow by and returns it to the pan. The factory short shifter installed allows for nice clean and crisp shifts. This car is very mechanically sound and has never been raced or beat on. It was simply used as a Sunday driver. The engine and transmission work well together and there is plenty of power.
