You are bidding on a 1996 Dodge Cummins diesel truck and plow. First the GOOD: truck starts right up, has 12 valve cummins diesel (which all Dodge guys know is the better motor), core on motor is worth $2500. alone, has 7.5' Myers power angle plow which is controlled in cab, electric windows & seats all work as does A/C & heat. Now for the not so good: needs brake lines, transmission was built about 5K miles ago & 3 years ago, tranny not working it just needs bands adjusted, it has new transfer case which cost $1800., has airbags on rear axle which hold air, just put new shackles on rear springs, chasis has only surface rust, does not have bed (intended to put flatbed on for sander but ran out of time), bottom of doors & cab are rusted but I have all new rocker panels & cab corners in truck that need to be welded in. 4 Wheel drive worked fine when last used. Just did oil filter & oil, fuel filter, air filter, fuel shut-off switch, 2 new batteries all in last month. Truck will have to be trailered or towed away - does not drive. With a little $ invested, it would make somebody a nice diesel plow truck. Low reserve & will not reveal reserve until end of auction, so please do not ask. Only bid if you have the $. If you are looking for a new truck or a free truck, this is the wriong one so don't waste my time. If it does not sell I will fix up myself in the Spring, just don't have the time now. If you are highest bidder above reserve at end of auction, you win truck & plow not the right to negotiate. Thanks
